Do recommend for short visits
Spacious room, clean room, with a large fan to keep cool and a delicious breakfast served downstairs in the pub before it opens to the public.
Everything was exemplary.

Charming retreat with great bar food
I had a lovely 3-night stay in a Standard Double Room. The room was small but spotlessly clean and cozy, equipped with great shower facilities. The highlight was definitely the downstairs bar with its friendly atmosphere and delicious food – I wish I had more time to enjoy it! While the location is a bit further from central attractions, it was easy to navigate public transport nearby. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a lovely, friendly welcome and the room had everything we needed for our overnight stay, including water and tea which were super appreciated! The garden area was perfect for relaxing, with a lovely seating spot and a serene vibe. One tiny downside was the limited food options in the nearby area, but the pub downstairs had nice food, so it wasn't a big deal. 😊

The room was charming and well-equipped, and the complimentary muffins and drinks were delightful. the steep stairs could be challenging for some. A little more surface space for personal items would have been helpful, but overall, a lovely experience close to transport links.

missingWrote a review on May 28poor signage
Signage outside can be a mystery. finding the entrance wasn't intuitive, especially in the cold. Rooms are all on the second floor, with steep, narrow stairs that could be tricky for some. The lack of daily housekeeping can be a nuisance, as refreshes only happen every three days. You’ll deal with a troublesome toilet that occasionally runs, making the stay less enjoyable. No breakfast served on premises, and Sunday breakfast policies could use more flexibility, especially when friends visit, as only residents are permitted to join.

positive experience but a few quirks
The meals served at the pub were exceptional. it was a delightful end to long days of exploring. I really appreciated the convenience of being close to two main transport stations for easy access around the city.
The floors in the building are uneven and a bit tricky to navigate.

This was just a prime choice for a whistle-stop in London with good value considering price it charged. The room was quite warm, allowing for a decent night's sleep. Make sure you ask staff about any Wi-Fi issues if they arise.
